FYI, as usual, hinati ang dome, para hiwalay ang both colleges. ang problem, super sikip na sa side ng mga leon!!! punong puno na ang side ng beda na even the stairs are taken na.. pero sa kabila.. hmm.. pwede pang humiga sa luwag.. hehe. peace! :D

Samal Island, Davao

after namin maligo, sinundo na let kme ng van at ang destination namin... Samal island!!! :D

as usual, tulog na nman ako sa byahe.. kaya pagising ko, nasa.. nasa.. basta parang docking area ng mga ferry & boats. tpos dun kami sumakay ng isang ferry, papuntang Samal island. 15mins lang ata yung byahe, bilis lng.uhmm.. minimum 7people daw max of 20. P15 ata ung fee papunta. wala nmang alon and malamig ung hangin.

tpog pagdating namin ng Samal island, entrance fee naman. d ko lang alam kung magkano. take note, kung mei dala kayong food & drinks, kailangan nyo bayaran yun para mapasok nyo.. haha. sorry na lng. hehe. paglapag ng mga gamit sa table, ang una namin hinanap... yung booth ng pang-scuba diving!!! wuhooo!!! hehehe.

together with my sis and her bf, nagpa-reserve kme ng 1PM then bumili rin kme ng disposable underwater camera. P800 ung cam, P900 ung scuba equipment rental. since maaga pa, balik kami sa rented table namin then waited for the food while nagswimming na mga pamangkin ko.

before diving:
ayan. bago lumusong, practice muna kami kung pano huminga using the oxygen tank. take note, ang hirap tumayo!! lalo na pag tinatamaan ka ng alon, ma-out of balance ka. kaya ang sabi sken, dpat naka-kuba ka para ma-maintain yung balance.

...nga pla, ang hirap huminga dun pg first time!!! d ko ma-maintain ung breathing rhythm ko ng ayos. palibhasa excited na kinakabahan. hahaha

waahahaha. bakit ako nkahawak sa goggles ko? pano b nman!!! maluwag!! everytime na mag-exhale ako, yung bubbles tumatama sa goggles ko and coz of that, parang matatanggal goggles ko! kaya lageng nakahawak. ahahaha. olats. ahehehe.

well, mdami pa kaming pictures, d ko na lng sinama. lam nyo ba, na super super sakit ng tenga ko everytime na mas lumalalim yung pinupuntahan namin. as in ang sakit! they taught us how to handle such problem, the diving term is equalize. ang gagawin, ipitin mo yung nose mo using your fingers then exhale ka through your nose... unfortunately, d ko magawa dahil everytime na iipitin ko nose ko, pumapasok yung tubig sa goggles ko!! huhu. kaya yun, tiis!!.. hehe. buti na lng kinaya. eto naman, nakakarinig pa nman ako ngayon. ahehee.

tpos nung pag-ahon namin. sus! ang hina ng pandinig ko! hehe. at ang sakit ng tenga ko.. huhuhu... kaya pag-ahon ko, saka lang ako nkakapag-equalize!!! kse wala na akong suot na goggles. wahahaha.

well, kahit na gnun nangyare sa akin, ayos lng. masaya ung pagdive namin. ang daming isda!!! nde nga sila natatakot kahit mei mga divers sa corals nila, lumalapit pa nga sila eh. kse d b pag nasa-aquarium parang takot na takot ung mga isda pag mei tao..

nakakalungkot nga lng, kahit sobrang ganda sa ilalim ng tubig.. mei nakita b nman akong balat ng Chippy!!! olats talaga.

oh well, ang masasabi ko lng... mauulit ang scuba diving na toh!!! wuhooo!!! hehe.

conquered DAVAO!!!! day 2

date: September 1, 2007 (saturday)

nagising ako ng 9am ata... and day2 adventure starts!!! wuhooo!! ehehe

after maligo, nagayos kami ng gamit xe pumunta kme ng Samal Island!!! :) aside from lumamon, hehe, namasyal & nagscuba diving!!! hehe. d nko nagswimming, kse mangingitim. hahaha. at least ang scuba diving, d ka masusunog ng araw kse nasa ilalim ng tubig. hehe. take note, first time namin magscuba!!! hahaha.

then after namin sa Samal Island, bumalik na kami then pumunta nman kami sa city. namili ng mga kung ano-ano. pasalubong, tshirt, malong, keychain, at syempre pa... prutas na nman!! hahaha. this time, d na ako kumain ng durian. hehe. suha naman. though maraming beses na ako nakatikim ng suha dito sa Manila, ibang klase suha ng Davao... ang tamis!!! ang sarap!!! promise!! dun kami nagtagal sa isang store, halos naubos na ung paninda nilang suha dahil napakyaw namin, promise! as in, ang sarap!

then after namin dun, pumunta namin kami sa city hall ng davao. picture ulit, then pumunta dun sa kalapit na Cathedral ata yun... nagsimba. same thing, d ko na nman naintindihan ung kanta & sermon. hehehe. tpos, pumunta kami ng jack's ridge. overlooking yun. hmmm. d nman ako gaano namangha, dahil from Antipolo ako. haainako, eh overlooking rin naman un eh. hehehe. pero ok nman. d na kami kumain dun, nagpicture lang, tpos bumalik sa city. tpos mei nahanap kaming restaurant na eat-all-you-can. ang problem, medyo sablay. ang tagal maglabas ng food! so kung ubos na yung nasa isang tray, ang tagal bago mapalitan. kaya naka isang plate lng ako.

tpos, umuwi na kami... pagdating sa hotel... toink. tulog! ahahaha.

Davao Crocodile Park

last stop namin nung first day sa davao eh ang Davao Crocodile Park. saktong sakto yung dating namin sa show nila. kung baga feature ng mga animals na meron sila.

first eh yung deer. d ko lam ano name or type nung deer.. basta deer sya. mabait nman, parang aso. nangdidila.. hehe. d nga lng tumatahol. nyahaha.

tpos next, naglabas sila ng iguana(laki!) pati mga baby crocodile, isang salt-water type at isang fresh-water type. syempre naman, hinawakan namin. hehe. sa laki nung iguana, d mo na ata ituturing na iguana yun.. baby dragon na ata yun. hehe.

after nung iguana & baby crocodiles... naglabas na sila ng ahas! na naman??!! hehe. pero matapang ung ahas na yun. nung nilapag nga nila sa gitna, nanghahabol yung ahas... though naka-cage naman sila, pero ung mga trainer sa loob, hinahabol sila. hehe. tpos yung isa pang trainer, mei hawak na dalawang lobo, tpos yun yung tinutuklaw nung ahas! ppooof! putok! (malamang!!! hehe).

then after nung ahas, naglabas sila ng tiger!!! wuhoo! ayos! nun lng ako nakakita ng tiger ng gnun kalapit. 20feet away lng siguro. tpos comedy, ang kulit nung tiger!!! nde sya nagroar or nananakot... pero mahilig magsmile!!! hehe!

oo! as in! smile sya ng smile! tapos parang aso.. na nakalabas lagi yung dila. hehe. tpos ang lambing. pwde b magalaga ng tigre sa bahay? hehe. then naglabas sila ng ungoy. matanda-tanda na yung ungoy. tpos ang kulit! nakachain kse ung tiger sa gitnang part, tpos kinukulit-kulit nung ungoy ung tiger! hehe.

tpos next, naglabas sila ng sawa!!! as in... sawa!!! ang laki!!! mukhang bagong kain eh kaya mabagal kumilos.. or, mabagal b tlga sila kumilos? hehe. binuhat ko nga, kaya lng, ang dme ng gumaya! hehe. as super bigat!!! see the picture, nakapatong na nga sa lap ko tpos nakayakap ako using my left hand, then hawak ko ung ulo on my right. as in, ambigat!!! ehehehe.

after nung sawa, pinalipat kme sa isang pen na nandun yung ibang mga crocodile. mei mga events na ginawa kasama yung mga crocodiles eh, here: crocodile dancing, crocodile frenzy, crocodile encounter and tightrope walking.

saya dito! magagaling yung mga caretakers and makikita mo tlga na alaga and mahal nila yung mga animals. saka bilib ako sa kanila, ang lalakas ng loob na magstay sa cage kasama yung mga buwaya!!! ..thinking na, nagkalat ang mga buwaya dito sa manila... wahahha. :)

Shrine hills, Davao

after we had our lunch, sakay let ng van then yun.. tulog na nman ako!!! wahaha. nagising na lng ako nasa Shrine hills kami. hayip! ang ganda! ang lamig tpos ang daming puno & tpos yung damo nya, tipong parang nde inaapakan. tapos talagang makakarelax ka.

tpos nagsimba kami dun.. as in ang ganda and ang sarap magsimba kung gnun ang lugar... isa lng problem ko...

d ko naintindihan homily! hehe. Davao dialect eh. kaya tumitingin-tingin na lng ako sa paligid. hehehe. kung nag-straigh english na lng sila or tagalog, ok na ok sana. hehe

Philippine Eagle Center, Davao

second stop of our first day in Davao was the Philippine Eagle Center. ano pa nga ba, eh di tulog na nman ako sa byahe kaya d ko lam kung malayo or malapit lng. ehehe. basta pagbaba namin sa van, mei booth dun para magbayad bago pumasok. ang nakalagay ata P10 adult, P5 kids... pero mas mahal binayad namin eh. ewan. d ata updated ung sign nila. ehehehe.

pagpasok na pagpasok ng park, ang makikita eh mga bilihan ng souvenirs at fruits. pero we decided na bago na lng umalis ng venue kami tumingin dun... then, pinuntahan na mismo namin ung lugar kung san nandun yung mga eagles. pagpunta dun, panibagong bayad na nman.. haaaai.. ewan kung magkano. while waiting, nandun kme tumambay sa mei mga chairs sa labasan nung pinaka-center, mei lawin na agad dun, his/her name is Alex. takot pa nga ako dahil walang tali or cage. basta nandun lng sya sa isang kahoy. then napansin ko na lng na putol ung left wing nya. according to the caretakers, binaril pala si Alex before mapunta sa kanila... aww.. too bad. bait pa nman. sarap nga iuwi kung pwde eh. hehe.

then pumasok na kme and we were told na papanuorin munanng video... ampf! ang boring nung video. nde naman talaga tungkol sa eagles & kite (english ng lawin, hehe). tungkol sa paninira ng tao sa nature.. kaya, iniwan namin. ahaha. buti mei guide dun, sbi namin kung pwde na kme umikot. yun, sinamahan nya kami...

d lang eagles & kites meron dun, mei mga deer, monkeys, crocodiles, etc. nakita ko rin dun sila PAGASA(philippine eagle) pati na yung mga iba pa. ang laki!!! FYI, ang eagles pala 8x mas malinaw ang mata compared sa tao & they can magnify their vision 3x. hayip! parang camera, pwde pang mag-zoom. hehe. kaya pala magaling sila manguha ng makakain nila.

after the tour, lumabas na kami.. then pinuntahan yung mga souvenir/fruit stands. then my very first encounter of the durian!!! hahaha. ano lasa? uhmm... mahirap i-describe. tikman nyo na lng! hehe.

then mei nakita kaming ahas!!! hehe. well, alaga naman sya. take note, hinawakan ko!! wuhoo! tapos, nag-gayahan na yung mga kasama ko. ahehe. obvious bang mga takot kami? sa buntot lang kami nakahawak eh. ahehehe. ok naman. mabait rin nman kse yung ahas. ganun pala feeling nun. hehe.

ano pa, hmm. maganda dito, ala lng akong ma-post na picture nung mga agila & lawin dahil d ko pa na-download from my mobile phone... pero maganda talaga! educational ;)

EDEN Nature Park, Davao

first day of our davao adventure, eto una naming pinuntahan with my family... ang Eden Nature Park. sobrang antok pa ako nung paglabas ko ng van & hirap pa ngumiti sa mga pictures... until nagstop kme sa isang hall para mag-breakfast. maganda surroundings at malamig. parang tagaytay. until nakakita ung mga pamangkin ko ng mapaglilibangan. nakita nila yung "indiana jones". rope activity sya na sasabit ka para magswing papunta sa kabilang side ng activity area. kasama nman kasi sa entrance kaya sinubukan namin. check the videos...

...mukha bang masaya, o mukha kaming tanga? hehe!


tapos after namin magbreakfast, nagikot kami with their tour guide. basta, as in malawak yung lugar na we have to ride their.. their.. whatever they call it. hehe. anyays, the said park is partial natural forest, and the rest is fully man made. pero as in.. ang ganda!

bumpy yung ride na kung d ka kakapit eh pwde ka mahulog.. d ka nman masasaktan pag nahulog ka.. magmumukha ka lng "nardong putek" kasi sobrang putek nung mga inikot. hehe.

maraming pang iba.. mas maganda kung puntahan nyo nalng!!! hehehehe. a must-see park!

wuhoo!!! together with my family, we went to davao!!! haha. ayos pla dun... medyo matagal lng sa plane, 1hr 45mins. pero ayos lng, kase tulog ako. nyahaha.

though d kme taga-davao, la lng. trip lng. bakasyon lng & bday kse ng sis ko. kaya pasyal-pasyal... ang saya!!! pagkababang-pagkababa ng plane, ayun! picture. haha. pati ad sa airport, picture! nyahaha.

sinundo kme sa airport ng rented van, hayup. mercedes pa. hehe. from airport, tour agad!!! we went to Eden Nature Park. tpos while waiting for our breakfast, mei nakita mga pamangkin ko na kakaibang activity. it was called "Indiana Jones". ket? pano b nman. uupo ka sa knot ng lubid tpos maglalambitin ka til d other side. hirap explain. basta, mukhang tanga! hehe. then nag-tour kme on the said park.

then after, we went to Philippine Eagle Center. from the name itself, nandun lahat ng philippines eagles. hayip. kung pwde lng maguwi ng agila at lawin tpos ilalagay ko sa puno namin sa antipolo. hehe. tpos nung papalabas na kami, pinatikim kami nung family friend namin ng durian! ampf! (yun lng masasabi ko. hehe)

tpos dito, we went to... to... d ko lam kung san. basta nag-lunch kami somewhere. hehe. normal food yung na-serve naman, until naglabas ng fruits.. durian, marang at.. at.. nakalimutan ko name. kaya yun, pagpasok namin sa van, amoy durian na nman. waaaah. hehe. pero ayos lng.

then after, we went to Shrine hills. nagsimba. ganda dun!! nakaka-relax ung paligid. parang sarap matulog sa grass.. ang problem nga lng, d ko naintindihan yung sinasabi nung priest kse davao dialect. hehe.

tpos namin magsimba, we went to Davao Crocodile Park. ayos! haha! isa lng masasabi, nagkalat ang mga buwaya dun!!! ..teka, parang iba ata meaning ah? hehe. asteeg dun! memorable!!

tpos, dahil sobrang pagod na, uwian na! take note, nung gabi lang kami nakapunta sa hotel namin. d ko lam kung ano name eh. pero simple lng. tpos, kumain lng kme ng mga takeout sa mcdo, tpos... boom! mga tulog na lahat! hehe.
